Paul Laney, Sheriff of Cass County shares how United Way of Cass-Clay invests in agencies that support our local law enforcement in times of crisis and tells a powerful story of a domestic violence situation he encountered that has impacted him personally and helped him to better understand United Way of Cass-Clay. Marti Jensen of Border States Electric, describes the impact UWCC has on our local children and their futures by providing them the resources they need to go to school without shame, fear, or being judged. Amber Brockopp, a young woman from Fargo, tells her remarkable story about getting out of debt and how UWCC provided the resources for her to undergo financial counseling and turn her life around. Trevor Anderson, an Eagle Scout and NDSU students tells of losing his father at a young age and how the Boy Scouts provided him the with male role models he needed growing up.
