Valley of the Sun United Way develops and supports hundreds of health and human service programs that address our community’s most pressing needs. VSUW partners with Valley leaders, volunteers, donors and other nonprofit organizations to find innovative solutions to address short-term individual needs and create long-term community results.
As part of their United Way campaign, students from South Dade Middle school produced this video to make their voices heard.

Heartland United Way 2009 Campaign Video
United Way Capital Area has been part of the Central Texas community for over 80 years and in that time they’ve helped thousands of families, local nonprofit agencies and community organizations, providing financial, volunteer and advocacy support. United Way’s goal is to advance the common good by creating long-lasting changes that prevent problems from happening in the first place, and provide opportunities for everyone to succeed. In keeping with their role of being good stewards of community resources, they recently conducted research and reassessed their role in improving community conditions. What they discovered should give everyone a disturbing wake-up call.
