Question: Blind folded Haters Of The United Egyptian Community … Will You Ever Walk Up ?
You don’t have the right to divide Egyptians to Christians and Muslims we are all brothers living in peace … certainly not because i say so !
history states that we fought hand in hand
- the crusades of Europe
-the tatar
-the turks
the french
-the british
-and israel in 1973

i swear if the Prophet Mohammad himself was still alive among us he would have renewed his well that he told his sahaba about being kind to the christians of Egypt , and don’t you forget that the christians of ethiopia protected the muslim faith in the first hijra !

so what is the case ?

Why is it that almost every body is participating some how in the eternal search and research for our differences ..
just to be different people ?
just to walk separate roads ?
and be more far apart than we already are ?
do you know why ?

The truth is ,
its because that there is Devil !!!!

who happens to be a common ground between most religions ,and the devil succeeded in making sons of Adam walk separate ways when it comes to the fact that there is one God , and one Creator for all of us .

God wants us to be good ,and kind to each other as humans and to his other forms of creation too ..

and from this point i say ..

” Disobey the devil ”
“and don’t ever kill or harm life in any form
its ok to love your existence , your family , your people , your country ,your world and your environment .
yet do it In A Positive Way ”

Because if you do you will be close to your God
and then
God will show you the way to be even closer

but the miss understanding of the Jewish tradition of “God loves me any way” will lead you to darkness and an inner struggle and finally a crisis when others around you see it clear which will eventually happen some day , and then you will find yourself serving hate in the name of love ! … and worst of all you will have the worst consequence ever , in the after world .

for Example !
why are you spreading news of a massage of hate in the day of OUR CHRISTIAN BROTHERS Festival ….?

holding more than 70 million Egyptian Muslim guilty for the hate ideology that you and others like you are planting in Egypt and many other places all over the world through the media news about ignorant sponsored individual cases and making struggles and fights among sons of Adam over : race ,color ,resources ,religions and many other things while spilling “oil” on its fires behind the scene

why ???
and for whom ????

you know “better than us” the Egyptian Police here will get who ever was responsible and guilty for this evil act

so who are you serving now when you participate in spreading news about that like no one is going to move and serve justice !!!!

while you know its never been served and never will be soon for millions of innocent muslims whom have been killed in Palestine by the jews of israel since 1948 till that very day yet never you speak of it ?????????? is this fair
who are you serving now ?????
certainly not god if you ask me !

To your knowledge as one of the muslims here i respect christians .. the real christians who believe in love and peace and i respect there Egyptian church which ordered its followers not to visit Jerusalem unless they were hand in hand with there muslim brothers … but well the media tell you that ???? ………… never !

now do you agree with me or not ?
… Yes or No

Answer by Pegah
I totally agree with you. It’s great to see there are still people who haven’t turned so blind. Religious fights never did any good to anyone. It’s just a way of spreading hate and becoming less and less human. It’s true that we all just go, search for a reason to fight. Even if we have the same religion. God tried to guide us. To show us a way to live better but what do we do? We just fight for nothing. Don’t we all worship one God? What’s the big difference between us anyway? Don’t we all eat food? Don’t we all have emotions? Are there only christians that get killed? What about the muslim woman who got kille in a court in Germany? What about the french christians who killed many African/french people in Paris many years ago? What about the soldiers killing people now in Iraq and Afghanistan? You see, bad is in everywhere. It can be any person with any religion. It’s not about HE was a MUSLIM so HE did this or HE was a CHRISTIAN so HE did that or even JEW. You should see that person himself not his race, nor his religion or anything else. He could just be mentally sick, or could have any serious peoblem cause what he does isn’t normal and our only job is to try to help people so we avoid more trouble. We should all learn the values of humanity.

Question: Would The Lakota (Sioux Indian) Concept Of Wowasakeikcupi (Taking Back The Way) Be Good For The PWD Community?
I am of Tsalagi (Cherokee) and Chahta (Choctaw) heritage and I was honored in a Gourd Dancing session at an American Indian Pow-Wow on Saturday, April 2, 2005.

*** WOWASAKEIKCUPI ***

The word “Wowasakeikcupi” translates into “Taking Back The Way” and is from the Lakota (Sioux Indian) language.

The Lakota (Sioux Indian) concept of “Wowasakeikcupi” (Taking Back The Way) has nothing to do on how PWDs used to be treated decades or centuries ago.

I feel like that the Lakota (Sioux Indian) concept of “Wowasakeikcupi” (Taking Back The Way) is a good thing for the PWD Community.

The PWD Community needs to “Take Back The Way” in various ways within the PWD Community.

Examples:

1. The entire PWD Community needs to be united as one. (The PWD Community is not united as one due to various fractures within the PWD Community and needs to “Take Back The Way” in the entire PWD Community uniting as one.)

2. All PWDs need to be treated with dignity and respect. (The PWD Community needs to “Take Back The Way” in terms of being treated with respect and dignity.)

3. The PWD Community will always be fighting for various Disability Rights in one way or another. (The PWD Community needs to “Take Back The Way” in terms of obtaining and keeping various PWD Rights.)

4. In all various current PWD issues that the PWD Community faces (Example: PWDs being forced into “Crip Ghettos” (Nursing Homes) against their wills, and other various PWD issues. (The PWD Community needs to “Take Back The Way” in terms of preventing PWDs being forced into “Crip Ghettos” (Nursing Homes) against their wills, and other various PWD issues.)

5. The PWD Community needs to have more “Closed PWD Only Support Groups”. (The PWD Community needs to “Take Back The Way” in terms of all PWD organizations/associations in having and supporting “Closed PWD Only Support Groups” in addition of having “Opened PWD Support Groups”.)

The 2 questions that I want to ask are these:

1. Would the Lakota (Sioux Indian) concept of “Wowasakeikcupi” (Taking Back The Way) be good for the PWD Community?

2. Why or Why Not?

Thank You.

To fodaddy19: Yes, I do understand the point that you are making about
“Wowasakeikcupi (Taking Back The Way) in terms of the “old ways”. But I am
not talking about the “old ways” when it comes to the PWD Community.
“Wowasakeikcupi (Taking Back The Way) should be used in changing current
situations or upcoming situations within the PWD Community. The examples that I posted is to illustrate the usage of
“Wowasakeikcupi (Taking Back The Way) within the PWD Community.
To L.K.: I disagree with you about that it would be better for the PWD Community to come up with their own way due to the fact that “Wowassakeikcupi” is able to transcend all culture groups including the PWD community. “Wowassakeikcupi would not cause a division within the PWD Community once PWDs understand the concept of “Wowassakeikcupi” (Taking Back The Way).

I think the term is sort of a misnomer. You’re talking about taking something back, when in reality you never had anything desirable that anyone would want to bring back in the first place. I know you’re not talking about about bringing back asylums or euthanization. But apparently the term translates into something that can easily be construed as the desire to bringing back the old way, when it would seem that changing the current or upcoming situation would be more advantageous.

Anyway to address your points;

1. It’s a nice thought but it’ll never happen. Reminds me in principle of a bumper sticker I once saw, it read “Forget world peace, envision using your turn signal”. Often you have to make due with smaller, but attainable victories, when the thing you really want is completely out of reach.

2. Dignity and respect are earned, they are not rights. Disability status has nothing to do with it

3. Yes, and there lies the problem, people shout “equality” to the heavens. However accommodations and perks aren’t exactly equal. If you need them that’s fine, there’s nothing wrong with that, but at the same time don’t try complain about equality, because if you really wanted to go by the textbook definition of equality you wouldn’t be receiving *any* accommodations. This is a pet peeve of mine.

4. Sometimes you have to do what’s in the person’s and society’s best interest. It’s like taking the keys away from the elderly even though they think they can still drive. We had to go through with this with my grandmother. She wasn’t happy about it 7 years ago and she’s still not happy about it now. But when you’re in two accidents in a week, it’s in everyone’s best interest that you make concessions, even if it’s not what you want to do.

5. It’ll just drive the various apparent divisions in the PWD community further apart. It would just be one more thing for people to squabble over.

Question: Ideas for planning a community service/philanthropy/charity event?
I have a desire to do something in my community along with the my organization. I would like to do something to make a difference, but I know that’s not always possible. I’ve only planned small events before like small presentations and what not. Does anybody have any advice on organizing events that help the community, or any ideas that can help??

I would start with picking a charitable organization that means a lot to you. (animals, children, elderly, whatever) or a cause (women in business, victims of fire loss, etc). Then brainstorm on activities that these people would partake in had they not fallen into their current circumstances. Then, pick an event and start recruiting help! you can IM me with questions if you want to… Amanda YIM: scubamanda03

Question: Was there any philanthropy or community service during the Renaissance?
I need answers

Answer:

Answer by Polyhistor
there is a term “Noblesse Oblige” which means that it is a responsibity on the part of those that have wealth to do things for the public with their money. It was done in Ancient Greece and Rome, it was done during the Renaissance, and it is done now.

Question: Is the Christian community in the United States “behind”?
Let me explain.

First, I live in the USA. Do not think this is biased against the US. In fact, let’s me more realistic and include some Latin American countries as well to this question, but taking into perspective that most American Christians are Protestant while Latin American Christians tend to Catholicism.

As a conservative Christian it amazes me how “behind” the Christian community is in here. Let’s say the US. Especially in rural areas: Christians in rural parts tend to be extremely nice, especially those who are young. This is my observation. Yet, the literal interpretation they give to the entire Bible- even the Revelation book- worries me. They tend to be incapable to harmonize science and religion at all. The problem is that when they are faced with scientific facts, they totally reject it and provide no reason at all to reject it- they only say “I believe the Bible”.

The Bible is certainly not an outdated book as it by all means the most important guide to our lives to reach God, but the Bible is not everything that God provides to understand Him better. While prayers and Bible study helps to understand more of God, we have to understand- God created science and whatever is found is, really, not going to be any “conflict” to God. Atheists and some other non-Christian groups also fall into fanaticism by arrogantly denying the spiritual realm and limiting everything in the Multiverse to human analysis which is utterly ignorant, but Christians cannot be so limited by what they are taught! You know why there are many “Christian” youths out there that always went to church and generally followed God and then when they hit puberty and the outside world by their own they fall into mundane things? Because deep inside them, they always doubted and did not believe the things they were taught because they are just biased and taught by general tradition. Some Christians have a real experience with God, yet still limit God after that experience. I am no one to judge anybody’s personal experience with God, but still I think God is not to be limited. In order to have more converts, people really need to focus less on hell, religious dogmas that are biased and based on tradition, and focus more on the God of love, power and mercy that created the Multiverse and all in it. Stop bashing Muslims and other religious people. Stop teaching that “Jesus is the only way” in such a literal way. Jesus is the only way to God for sure, but not in that literal perspective which automatically sends millions to people who never heard about Christ to hell by default, not to mention babies, aliens and other forms of life that have never heard anything about Jesus. When you evangelize, make the people want to imitate and follow Jesus in their HEARTS, not by simply a word of mouth. Jesus is merciful. Did the man that died with Jesus by his side in the cross say literally “I accept you as my Savior”? I haven’t read it. Alas, all the prophets and people before Jesus did not accept Him as his Savior because Jesus did not arrive yet. Are they in hell?

Hell is such a horrid place that it automatically implies that such an unfair way to end there is simply not possible at all.
