Valley of the Sun United Way develops and supports hundreds of health and human service programs that address our community’s most pressing needs. VSUW partners with Valley leaders, volunteers, donors and other nonprofit organizations to find innovative solutions to address short-term individual needs and create long-term community results.
As part of their United Way campaign, students from South Dade Middle school produced this video to make their voices heard.
Sigma Delta Tau’s philanthropy: Greek Grind- a dance competition between the sororities on campus. Their philanthropy raises money to stop child abuse. ZETA TAU ALPHA WINS 1st PLACE…AGAIN!!

We serve the River Region (Montgomery, Autauga, Elmore, Lowndes, and Macon counties) by assisting with funding for approximately 48 partner agencies. Each year the United Way kicks off the campaign by asking employees to give by utilizing the payroll deduction system. The campaign is then launched to the public for citizens and businesses to pledge their giving to the United Way.
