| Monetary and food donations are accepted at all times. Organizations, businesses and individuals often request to sponsor a meal. Each week a sponsor provides a donation of two hundred dollars. This amount is supplemented by Our Neighbors' Table funding, covering the cost of food and supplies. A group sponsoring Our Neighbors' Table may wish to participate personally by designating eight volunteers from their organization to serve the meal. If not, there is a consistent roster of volunteers available to serve our guests. Individuals and small groups my also choose donations toward the cost of a meal in honor of a loved one's birthday, anniversary, in their memory or other occasion. We accept donations of fresh vegetables from local gardens. We welcome home gardeners to share some of their produce. Many local businesses donate ice cream, pastries, and desserts on a regular basis. We also are able to receive food donations following a function, such as a wedding, birthday party, anniversary, or funeral. Our Giving Table |
